Lone Star Rubyconf 2008 - Call for Papers

Greetings from Texas!

The second annual Lone Star Rubyconf is revving up and scheduled for Sep 4-6 in Austin, TX.

The conference is featuring the creator of Ruby, Matz, and many other luminaries.

This year we have added an optional day of hands-on training (Thu) in addition to two days of action packed ruby filled sessions (Fri, Sat).

The conference is now accepting proposals for both speaking sessions and training sessions.

See you in Austin in September!

Intro to Ruby & Rails Charity Workshop

Conf registration is not required to attend this workshop.

Conference Hotel Info Coming Soon

We’re working on a conference hotel at a great rate for out of town attendees. They have a shuttle for those without transportation (and who don’t want to pay for a taxi). As soon as the room block is confirmed (which should be early this week), the hotel details will be posted.

The Lone Star RubyConf 2007 CFP is now officially open and accepting proposals. We already have many excellent proposals submitted through the pre-registration process, but there is still room for you.

If you have a special expertise in any aspect of computing that involves Ruby that you wish to speak on, please send your proposal to Lone Star Rubyconf 2007 by following the steps below.

Paper submission deadline is June 10, 2007.
